Cranston Through Time was published in 2019 by authors Sandra Moyer and Janet Cullen Ragno. This book shows has our city has changed through the years by pairing a vintage photo with a contemporary photo of the same area.

The Cranston Historical Society has published three books using vintage photos from our extensive collection. These books are available for purchase, either by visiting our gift shop, by mail or through this website. All proceeds from these book sales go to the Cranston Historical Society.

Images of Time: Cranston was published in 1999. Authors Bette Miller and Lydia Rapoza separated the book into the nine villages and sections of our city such as Arlington, Auburn, Edgewood and
Knightsville.

Images of Time: Cranston Revisited was published in 2014. Authors Sandra Moyer and Tom Worthington divided the book by themes such as Transportation, Education, Religion, and Government. Each section has an introduction giving a short history of the topic as it relates to Cranston. Photos are arranged in
chronological order.
